Becky! What an inspiring post. And can I just say that photo on the moving walkway is pure gold! I love it! I'm so happy to be back blogging and to see your lovely face and read your powerful words. This line, "set aside time to master our craft, tell our truths, and throw ourselves out into the universe to share our passions." Becky -- that's YOU. You are fearless and your daughter is so lucky to have you as a role model, and to be there right by her side, championing her dreams. Thanks for sharing your inspiration with us!

What I loved about Charlie and his talk was that he was such a normal, nice guy and so passionate about sharing his experiences, which were brutal, to be honest. His humility and approachability elevated his presentation to whole new level. It was impossible not to be inspired by him. Glad you enjoyed this post. Hope you got a chance to watch his TedTalk.

Thanks Kristine! So how is it that I never knew you danced? The things we learn!! :-) This camp sounds wonderful. I'll have to look into it for Miss O. This summer she's already going to an American Ballet Theater summer intensive, but perhaps the summer after next! Getting back to the Rockies is high on our list of things we love to do, and combining with dance for her would be perfect.

Hey Becky I really enjoyed the blog. Since Olivia is so into dance I thought I would pass along a camp you might want to check out. Perry Mansfield Performing Arts Camp in Steamboat Springs (PerryMansfield.org) . I attended the camp for many years and I was even a counselor when I was in college. It is truly an amazing setting where instructors from all over the world come to teach at the camp and many dance professionals have trained there.

Love all these! Somehow I missed seeing your comment yesterday--I guess I'm just getting back into the swing of blogging! The last F word cracked me up as I grew up with brothers too, and somehow that never gets old. Ha ha. Thanks for throwing your Fabulous F words into the mix!

So nice to hear from you Deborah! You must have sensed that you were on my mind as I just ordered your new book, Just Like February, at the crack of dawn this morning. Isn't it crazy how the universe aligns sometimes? I can hardly wait to read it! And thanks for your generous comments.

It warms my heart to see this post . . . and all your wonderful thoughts re: what Anne Lamotte in particular and where life in general has taken you, I loved 'Bird by Bird' and I'd be hard put not to appreciate her bringing Leonard Cohen's words into the mix. Lucky you. And welcome back :-)
