We've had several exhibitions of her photos [at the museum where I work] in the past decade, so I know her history. One of the exhibitions included some lovely informal shots of her family (one with her first husband Maynard Dixon holding their infant son, was made into a print). Her photo of the "destitute family in the pea field" (I won't give away the title) is the one photograph almost everyone wants to see, though not many of them know the correct title. D.L.
